Carleton Place Gallery is a curated gallery with an event space and a solo exhibition area for artists and art lovers in the Ottawa region. CPG is friendly and inviting, offering a soothing and beautiful atmosphere for both visitors and artists alike.

Through a carefully considered integration of symbols, we aim to communicate the gallery’s core values and its role in the local arts scene. The design incorporates four key elements, each representing an integral part of the gallery’s identity:

1) Community: One of the foundational pillars of the gallery is its deep connection to the local community. A group of circles symbolises unity and inclusivity; a collaborative spirit that binds artists, visitors, and the gallery.

2) Space: The square icon communicates a welcoming and inspiring physical space, evoking a sense of structure and balance. The gallery is a place where creativity is framed and celebrated, offering visitors a harmonious space to engage with art of all kinds.

3) Heritage: The gallery has become an integral part of Carleton Place’s culture. The bridge symbol references a historical architectural feature that is unique to the area, while reinforcing the business’ connection to the town’s roots and their commitment to preserving its legacy.

4) Artistry: At the heart of our gallery is the celebration of artists and their craft. An abstract sculptural form represents their creativity and artistry. This icon serves as a tribute to the talent, innovation, and dedication of the people who are central to the gallery’s purpose.
